I remember how my youth was spent

It came so fast and then it went .

life was cool and I was too when I was young .

So many friendships had just begun

Enjoyed them all , trusted everyone .

We understood that life was good

When I was young .

The master of time has promised me eternity .

So in his eyes I’m pleased to be

forever young .

Now they say I’m old but I’m not dead yet

Haven’t they been told , maybe they forget .

I’m forever young , a promise is kept .

Consider this if you think that I’m old .

Eternity is the age of my soul .

in a perfect world where no one is old .      .

I sang each day with a passionate tongue..

Walked a high wire to touch the sun .

Out of sight day and night ,

When I was young .

The master of time has promised me eternity .

So in his eyes I’m pleased to be

forever young .
