Here's  What's Happening

Here’s what's happening since you’ve been gone.
well let me tell you what's going on .

Things on my mind keep me up all night

Thinking of you and hope you’re all right ,

The grass has grew and the kids have too

but its not a home here without you .

The house is still here. thank God for that .

and for summer time , it’s not that hot ,

Busy shopping in the grocery shop

We’ve got enough food to fill us up .

There’s so much washing to do each day

I’m trying hard to put it away

Thunder storms came and the rain poured down

People with COVID arrived in town  .

Tryin to work all the hours I can

and one of the kids lends me a hand .

Christmas came but it wasn’t the same

Maybe in the New Years things will change .

I’ve been feeling lonely without you

But that’s ok, I’m sure you are too.

So I wrote this note for you today

Just to let you know thanks are ok .
