You’ll find the long road out is the short way home ,

so when you’re gone don’t forget to phone ,

I don’t know what I’d do without you  on my own .

Let your love be a mountain, away up on high ,

Let your love be a shooting star falling from the sky.

Let your love be a flower growing in me ,

let your love be a natural thing , love let it be.

If you come home and find the lights are on

and if you’re wondering where I’ve gone ,

wait for me ,  I won’t be very long .

Let your love be the sunshine shinning around me .

Let your love be a river flowing to the sea ,

Let your love be an ocean as deep as can be.

Let your love be a boat that’s sailing home to me.

Life’s a hard road and don’t I know ,

there’s no turning back , once we decide to go ,

onwards and upwards together we will go.

Let your love be a deluge , falling down on me,

let you love be a rainbow for all the world to see.

Let your love be a bird in flight

with a sweet song to sing .

Let you love be everywhere

with me in everything.
