Thinking Of You

I lit a candle for all those who needed a prayer today

and thought about all the needy so then I started to pray ,

I asked the Lord to bring shelter ,

to the homeless in the cold and food for the hungry ,

care for the sick , the fragile and old .

I thought of the broken and lonely

and those being abused ,

I thought of the innocent ones ,

who have wrongly been accused .

I thought of so many people and don't know what else to do ,

so if you're one of those people I lit a candle for you .
