Who Cares For The Children

Night life is a like playground ,

little children playing with fire

racing in cars and embracing danger ,

chasing after every desire

muscling  and hustling,

tussling and rustling up the money they need,

just enough , to buy some stuff ,

they’re a rough , tough street  talking breed .

Tell me who cares for the children ,

well I do and you should too ,

lets them that we care

 and we understand why they feel that way ,

Tell me who cares for the children ,   

we all should do , me and you 

lets build a bridge to the future

 and bring our children back home today

Street life is a hard game ,

little children on the hungry mile     
looking for wood , cooking some food  ,

hooking up for a while.
trying and buying , lying and denying ,

 that they took all of the  cash

and they don’t know who got smashed up

 or mugged and bashed

Tell me who cares for the children ,

well I do and you should too ,

lets them that we care and we understand why they feel that way ,

we all should do , me and you

 and bring our children back home today .
