Young and Hateful

Mercy from Misery, no I don't expect any such thing,
Why oh why did I let you in?
Drawn to your cold, cold depths,
Those black eyes so hollow, vacant and so damned hard to forget.
When you saw me,
Was I a tragedy waiting to happen?
Did you sense that I needed you and your shark's eyes.
You were dead inside,
You let yourself believe that by being so weak, you could make yourself
strong.
You're a junkie, an addict, and pain is your fix,
The six of you are lovers,
Caught in the act of feeding on his soul.
I am above you now,
Beyond your crippled reach.
I am beyond you now,
Freed from waking dreams of you.
Frozen and without remorse, enjoy what you have become,
Can you understand the failure you are?
Mercy from Misery,
Why do you deserve respite from yourself?
As usual, any feedback or constructive criticism is appreciated, if you
like my work let me know! Cheers: Paul
