Almost Home
We welcome the rain: a gentle cleansing.
A passage through pain.
Birthing spiritual gains.
We chose to remain steadfast,
Rooted in worship, a righteous claim;
Reading, listening, and obeying;
His name is until every promise is obtained.
Through the process,
For His name, for His glory, for our good.
Just as He said, He would:
The hope of glory sustains a foretaste of redemption.
Even in those light afflictions, He never changes.
These lessons are shaping you.
That’s what your faith is for!
They teach us to surrender in the shelter of the secret place.
We are called to a narrow path:
And to sing a thousand hallelujahs is our victorious battle.
The jungle may be dark in the valleys of death.
But His word is a lamp unto our path;
We are going to make it out alive.
