Blessed Sleep
Quietude hums a lullaby; softly falls at night.
Dim the lights, listen as you close your eyes.
My little ones: to heavenly melodies, nursery rhymes.
Now that your long day’s play is done.
Quietude is in the air; sleep sweetly.
As you lie here in your crib, a pathway into the dream world.
Of fairies, in the symphony's garden, holding you with care.
Blessed sleep, a wondrous treat, oh, gentle rest.
With your woobie soft blanket to keep you safe.
While angels sprinkle angel dust, in your eyes is
A treasure in disguise. So, close your eyes, my little ones.
Angle guard your tranquil crib.
Sounds of tin soldiers marching your way.
Dancing around your head, ballerinas on graceful tiptoes.
All the excitement hangs from your crib mobile.
Here are all your comforts at your feet.
Cotton candy, enchanted trees, fireflies, and shiny
Stones, what a delight!
Grandma's music box is nearby, just in case you want to listen.
Playing “You Are My Sunshine.”
So keep dreaming, counting sheep.
Goodnight, baby, sleep.
You are safe here.
