The Grace
Oh, for grace, to save face;
OH, for grace, that stood in our place.
Brought low by a trip on the road:
Seems easier to go it alone.
Running back into His open arms.
Forget your wit and charm and
Realize you’re not your own.
Trusting in oneself, how could you’ve
Known, this grace is a precious unbeknown.
Cradle in the fetal position:
Like that of a fortress, there’s no resistance.
In the light of grace. Displays unmerited favor;
Where grace reveals it enough: to banish
All shadows of turning to doubt. And
every moment is covered in grace:
Every growth flourished having taste grace.
Sacrifice oneself; until there’s nothing left,
But saving grace: when you only see grace,
Saved by grace; received by faith.
Understand the gift is to accept
The amazing grace.
That took your place. Absolute.
