Sunrise As Usual

It was morning and the sun was about to rise
I opened the blinds as usual and waited
I stood there naked as usual
Then I saw her
Dimly
In the morning grayness
I could only make out her shape
Nonetheless transfixed
The sun rose and in the morning light
I could only see part of her
At her window watching the sunrise
One arm up leaning on the pane
One breast against the glass
One eye clearly blue holding the sun
Then she saw me
She was unmoved
Perhaps this happens to her all the time
She slowly moved away from her window
As did I from mine
It was a beautiful sunrise
As usual I got ready for class
