Revenge

Wonder appeared on your young face,
Brace, for your husband is about to chase you
down towards the town,
‘Help!’ you scream,
Yelp it seems,
is all that came out,
Doubt, upon the choice of your spouse,
‘Get that voice into the house!’
He screams with a long piece of wood,
‘we cant have this reverberate through our neighbourhood’
Yes bless,
Her innocent face on the desk where he placed it,
Face it your choice of spouse is no mouse when it comes to violence,
Silence, is what you have come to learn,
Yearn, for some normality,
This man you live with the apitomy of insanity,
Vanity, is all he’s interested in,
Him with you on his arm,
Charm, is what he exudes,
Choose, is it him or is it you?
True, you’ve never killed before
Or, do you just want to ignore
His great disrespect,
Insect is how small you feel around him,
Astound him!
Show him that you can fight back,
Attack with the knife into his back.
Strike him once, twice, thrice and more,
Until he lies dead on the floor.
Now, ring the cops;
‘911 what’s your emergency?’
‘I’ve killed my husband!’ you say with urgency,
And give your name and address,
Stress is all you feel,
Impressed, your feelings real,
Until you hear a groan on the floor,
Moan from your husband so you give him more,
force with the knife,
Source of your life,
Feeling like you’re trapped,
Strapped to this man who found you,
Bound you by a ring.
But you didn’t do a thing wrong,
Strong is what you start projecting,
Affection the whole new chapter in your life,
For you now are no longer his wife.
The police saw in awe the bloodbath you created,
You stated how he abused you,
Used you, as a punching bag,
Now there’s a tag on his big toe,
In the morgue, cold,
Sold, the judge said that you could go and be,
A young woman because my love now you are free.
