An unexplained event

A terrible scene insight, I can't quite explain.
An indescribable feeling tearing through my soul.
Unclear to me, as I stare at the lifeless image ahead.
Mystical confusion all around, not knowing what to do.
And there it happens all out of the blue.
A sudden light blinds my eye, yet I can still see the blur of the horrific image.
I feel like I'm on a drunken night out, nothing fits into place, everything is bizarre.
Absurd I might add, where am I? Suddenly I feel like a feather, rising above reality, Travelling through a dream may be, I am not quite sure. The higher I rise, the worse of my blindness. Voices seem echoes, images become obscure. An endless journey above reality continues I shut my eyes, trying to relax. I then awaken, but the strange feeling has gone, my soul doesn't feel like it is being torn apart, it feels whole. My curiosity leads me astray, because when I look down on what I had been rising above; I see grievance. I don't understand, the light has miraculously disappeared, my vision is clear. I see a box, there my body lays, my heart in-between, my soul up here. Although mysterious to me, of how this happening, I puzzle together my recent memories, it then all makes sense...
The protection of my soul was the lifeless image ahead, the goodness I had achieved throughout my life resulted me into rising to a better place. The light that had blinded my eyes, was the path I had taken to this better place, the grievance below was the celebration of my life that had an unfortunate ending.
