I lose my balance
trip over
mistaken identities

I'm reading into

separating each letter
pulling them apart

they're crawling inside my throat
down into a
s p a c e
that does not want to be filled

sometimes we'll speak
and side by side
with our conversation
I paint the double meanings

banter
