This Really Happened

I saw a policewoman walking towards me.
She didn't look very pretty.
I started wondering if lots of policewomen
Were not very pretty.
She saw me staring at her rather strangely.
She smiled at me and I realised
She was prettier than I thought
And probably a much nicer person than me.
