Dream

His girlfriend told him she kissed his friend. His eyes filled with rage, and he engaged in an ongoing tantrum. A cacophony of shouts and screams rang in his head until he got home. He ignored her messages, sat down on his bed and cried at one in the afternoon.
He looked at the window, and like a fast-forwarded record, day gave way to night. He was awake, the dream had gently transitioned him into real life, for once. This was short-lived, however. There was no sound or smell, only sight. He could not move, as if constricted by imperceptible bounds which kept him sat upright on his bed.
Suddenly, he was not himself any more. He was floating at the edge of the bed, looking at himself. The room looked normal,as he slowly waded towards himself, but there was still that eerie silence, he could hear nothing, and he felt awake, but most probably was not.
He waded slowly through what felt like thick air, he could not resist the forcing attracting him to himself, who was sitting up on the bed, wide-eyed. As he neared his own eye, he noticed that it had lost its color, giving way to a soft, ebbing, red. As he got even closer, he saw that the eye was reflecting a different room to that of his own.
The ceiling was made of soft skin, stretched but joined at intervals by a navel. It was punctured by long spears, and limbless figures were attached to the end of the spears. He knew everyone attached to the ceiling. His father, mother and sister were hanging next to each other, as if embracing, smiling down at him. His friends were scattered along the rest of the ceiling. His television was made of skin and bone, and it was also on, showing the black and white distortion, which in this vision, had no sound. The cupboard adjacent to the television had human feet holding it up. It looked liked a fleshy blob. The face of the cupboard was made with the back skin (hair included) of his uncle, he knew this because his uncle's head was on top of the cupboard.
The wardrobe opposite the cupboard had a frame made of bones. The doors were made of skinned faces, stretched and held together by hair which was attached to the bones. He knew all those faces, from people he met everyday to random people he'd seen in the passage of time. There were holes for their eyes and mouths, revealing the red, fleshy inside of the wardrobe. Since he was limited by the reflection of his own eye, he could not look out the window, although he was extremely curious to know what is out there.
He looked up again and saw that there was one person he could not recognize. He had limbs, unlike the others, and was impaled from his head and stomach, as well as nailed by his limbs. His intestines hung down, replacing what was once the lamp. He saw himself.
The only person missing, was his girlfriend. Unwillingly, he waded into the eye and found darkness, and felt himself creeping back into bed, and sleeping peacefully.
