Neighbour from Hell

An environmental vandal
lives next door, but one.
He lights his stinky bonfires
when my washing's clean and spun.
No sooner have I pegged
this and that out on the line
than acrid smoke starts billowing,
engulfing me and mine.

He's been asked nicely not to do this
but he didn't mend his ways-
I can't think what he finds to burn,
though I've not seen his wife for days!
