The Boy in The Corner

All I wanted was for her to notice me,

But she was too beautiful for me to approach.

The swarms of teenagers over her compelled me to return to the corner.

These boys with their deodorant, gel and confidence.

These go getters, heartbreakers, love enthusiasts,

I envied them.

What I would give for you to look this way!

For you to say hi and make me feel like someone.

Why was I born this way!

I blame everything.

I blame my parents, 

I blame my school,

I blame society,

I blame my "friends".

I'll say hi to you one day.
