Their bodies are intimate
Locked in embrace
Caressing each other
Face touching face
She allows him to enter, but
He's not the first
He satisfies; neither
The best nor the worst
Their passions are mingled;
Their minds are apart
They've fused their two bodies
But kept their two hearts
Another two lovers
Virginal still
No consummation
But for love they'd kill
They're thoughts are connected
They've no need for speech
The soul of the other is
Within arm's reach
When they gaze at each other
The space inbetween
Does nothing to soften
Their strong love unseen
They're wrapped in a world
None but them see
Two bodies, one soul
That is intimacy
