Keeping at bay the ocean's tides,
Trying to freeze a star;

These feats are not as difficult
As what I'm trying to say.

I expect no forgiveness but
I must try anyway.

Now it is time to say my part
I find no words will do.

Perhaps you will forgive me then
If I use only two.

They are clich?d and over-used
But now I am sincere.

Forgive me when I say them as
I wipe away a tear.
