R- Single tear

&;#65279;Silence flows between two
their words melt away
the single tear that fell
dried by warmth
of heart and hand

given together
the seed of longing
planted thoughts that grow
in the garden of intimacy

For cupped within their palms
the flower of truth
held by the grain of mirth
haven at its roots

flourished the love found
in the bloom of pale roses
entwined so gently two minds
arriving in a bed of hope.
The tear lost.
