Desire and destiny
P K Routray
Observe we often,
nothing does happen,
as we desire and dream
unlucky ourselves, we deem.
Blame we our providence
convening God our grievance.
Philosophical we become
“Born are lucky and unlucky some,
somebody sweats, somebody gains
crazy is God in His blessings and banes.”
But reflect and ponder, you for a while
with banes, do not you still survive and smile?
To a child, what appears as sweet,
many times mothers does not permit.
The child cries unaware of its ignorance of the consequence,
But the mother with love and affection comes to its defense.
Similar to a crying child we are ignorant of the consequence
let us leave everything to our best well-wisher, God, hence.
Accept whatever happened as good and whatever is happening as good for us
Whatever will happen will surely be good, with joy let us accept thus.
