Happiness In My Life

Sometimes we meet that special person,
Who we always wish to find;
The one we had been looking for all our lives.
Your soul mate, your twin heart.
You think that should be a happy moment,
But sometimes a little bit of sadness comes attached.
You look back to many years left behind,
When you wished that person was in your life.
Many years that just went bye either in sadness
Or just with a lonely heart.

I know we have to accept it as the past.
Some people say it just wasn't meant to be,
Just admit it and realize.
It is easy for people who didn't live my life.
I lived a life of suffering, crying,
And even of wanting to die.
Now that I found happiness,
I sometimes sit down and cry.
Yes I cry, tears of joy that is, I'm no longer sad
