This Was Alison
She lies awake
On the 4th of September
Breathing the smoke and sweat
Of frustration and fear
She yearns for love
She yearns for tempataion
in lust and passion
She once never recieved
She is 34
She is lonley
She is in no relationship
She dreams of being alone
She is undoubtably clever
In more ways than one
She thinks she is dumb
She knows she is determined
She craves for cocaine
She craves for indescensy
That comes whenver she yearns for attension
She asks for money
She begs on the street
She is stealing handbag
And robbing houses
She is in prison
She is lonley still
She is sick and pale
She is dying
She is stained with blood
She had slit her wrists
She had no relatives
To lean by
This is Alison
Your average Alison.
This was Alison.
Before she died.
