It's just that there was a certain
tension
in his face.
A shred of rage.
A rage that shredded.

He was angry at his own emptiness, I think,
so he would shout into his inner-void.
He shouted

every time he spent money,
drove too fast,
put on the power suit,
or fired off yet another leveling glance at
those he considered to be less.

He shouted into his own hollow void,
and the
echo
made him mad with motivation.

He shouted
into that empty black inner-void,
but... emptiness can only be filled.

It cannot be destroyed.
