Crevices

I am a bard in this story and context. I work under a patron that serves the head of the village. I am here to entertain them with poems and prose. But of course, I still write letters. These letters are then directed to my friends. I have many friends or colleagues in this village; they are knights, archers, alchemists, clerics, priests, and tamers as well as many other bards. There are many other people that I know who have worked in many other jobs, my connections are not limited. Although so, it may be small compared to some other people outside of my circle… that would mean my patron would know more about the others outside this little village.

I have a few dear friends in this tale and they are the ones whom I am sending my letters to. First, there is my current lover, Chihiro. It’s confusing to define whether she is a lady or a gentleman, she could be both and good at it. She’s also a bard like me and a lover of literature and I learn a lot from her.

My friends are not always good, though. There are several that I am in conflict with. The Fourth Cat Princess from the neighboring kingdom was my previous patron. She’s very full or herself and that behavior slowly sickens me even though we were the best of friends. And the Knight of the Scarlet Flames is also my nemesis now. It was all because a simple misunderstandings that I became some sort of dislike to them. I can’t really blame them either because they’re just being themselves.

In regards of those, I would like to tell you that there are also many others whom I will send my letters to and everyone of them have a sort of significance in my life.
