Oh I wish I ad a gymslip
A blouse all crisp an white
I wish I ad matching socks
Not a left and right

I tried to find a matching pair
But there were very few
And if they were the same length
They were of a different hue.

Instead I've got a floury dress
That really is too big
I itch it up with the belt
I don't care a fig

I eard two gels behind me
In assembly say
Look at her, whot a state
Lets ide from er at play.

I ave a friend called Jeanie
She as everyfing
She's even got a garden
Complete with er own swing

She's also got a front room
Complete with a pianner
She has lessens once a week
They cost one and a tanner

She's got a luverly Mum and Dad
They are so very kind
I once ad a carbuncle
Which they did daily bind

But now that I am thirteen
Next year I'll get a job
Then I'll get some new clothes
And be a swanky snob.
