I wish it didn't hurt so much,
I wish I could cope,
I wish there was no pain at all
No sadness at all.
Not just in my life
But in yours.
You affect me,
Your sadness makes me cry,
And my pain in doubled.
The wounds are back
And I have forgotten,
That once you were there for me,
Like I am for you now,
And I have forgotten,
That once I had stopped.
But now the wounds return.
I feel like I am fighting a losing battle,
I wish I could help,
Both you and myself.
