Beneficial revenge?!

Not ours to avenge,
but sweet revenge
if being kind
brings shame
to those we name
to blame
for malice,
enmity;
and sparks a change,
a crumbling
of hate and anger,
maybe some peace
instead of danger,
release
of tension,
some comprehension
of our position.
“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.” Book of Proverbs chapter 25:21,22 in the Bible. (cf an incident recorded in the Book of 2 Kings chapter 6:22,23)
[IP: a proverb]
