The sky is a canvas,
cloud scenes float by;
– and faster fly
when high winds blow.
Wispy or feathery
often brilliant white
sometimes tinged by sunset hues
– exquisite sight,
or billows towering,
dark grey glowering..
Sunshine's shade,
some soon showers shed
– rain or snow
for streams and taps to flow
way down below.
[IP: rain]

Great IP response Rhiannon, and I love the photos too. I hope Jenny pops back in soon and sees this one - it's right up her street!

"exquisite" is a great word
"exquisite" is a great word for sunset clouds. I hope you have rain for your streams and taps to flow very soon. Thank you for this lovely poem
