[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]

His words are all faithful and true,
his works are all kind through and through,
he’s righteous and sovereign in all,
and near to whoever will call,

to those who will truly cry out,
sincere in their whisper or shout:
he saves and preserves for he’ll hear
those who love him with reverent fear.

To please him their hearts now aspire
and he will fulfil their desire.
Supporter of those who are stressed
and raising those slipping, oppressed.

The Lord is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.
The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.
The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. Psalm 145:13b-21

We were away overnight with family as our previous church before we moved was having a '250th anniversary'. We were so glad we were able to get there as the preaching was very helpful and good, but also we met so many believers we knew years ago, many having moved to other places and really good to meet up again and have fellowship in the Lord. So I couldn't put up the hymn until we returned after quite a long journey! Rhiannon
