Shark skin found to be so unusual –
covered with very tiny flat teeth-like scales,
which surprisingly reduce drag.
In 2008 some Olympic swimmers 
used swimsuits that copied, and records were broken,
so such were banned. 
Now airlines are coating many planes
– less effect than in water, but still saving fuel.

Biomimetics is learning from wonderful designs in nature.
