The Wind is a Peanut

By Richard L. Provencher

Thu, 21 Jul 2011
  • 723 reads

I want to make the
wind wobble,
to watch it squirm

I want to capture
the essence
of its magic

against my face,
competing for my
attention.

I want to chew into
the meat,
like a mouthful

of peanuts

savouring
tasting,
its scent teasing.
