Captain E's Log:
[Stardate June 22nd 2002]
Have woke up with a splitting headache today.. and feel rough man. D
woke me up with a phonecall, wanting to know what I was doing tonight.
I told him that I'am going to stay in. I don't really feel upto doing
anything at the moment. Don't feel very sociable, just want to spend a
quiet evening in on my own.
I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of this headache, and
nothings working.. headaches are the worst pain I think.
Thinking about this idea that was on the front page: about writing
being like a muscle that you have to exercise regularly to keep strong.
I feel like keeping a diary is helping me to achieve this. As it is
giving me something to write about on a daily basis. It is definately
having positive effects. I began to write a story today, and I haven't
written a story in ages. I think writing fictional stories is my
favourite kind of writing. I like it because you can let your
imagination go where it wants to. You can make-believe and be as
twisted as you like. I think that's another reason why I want to stay
in tonight, because I want to finish this story I'am writing.
I'am trieing to get into the habit of reading stories and poems on
abctales that haven't had many reads. Sometimes, I see pieces that have
0 reads written by them, or just 1 or 2, and I feel sorry for the
authors, so am keeping my eyes peeled, and will make the effort to read
those pieces. Try and give some feedback if I can.
The pieces I've enjoyed reading so far today have been: 'Slow' written
by Sooz and 'None as Yet' by Neil Wills.
I also enjoyed reading Miss Tree's diary entry. I like her username
also and have been a bit cheeky and copied it slightly; as I thought it
was quite clever, and very apt, for my stealthy purposes. I like the
idea of being a mystery.
Ah well.. can't think of much else to say, isn't a particularly
exciting day today. Not a heck of a lot going on here at the moment.
The sky is dull and grey, and we've had a bit of rain.
Ben's looking at me with expectant eyes. His ears are pricked up and
his head cocked to one side. I swear he's telepathic and can read my
mind. I'am about to take him for a walk, but how does he know I wonder?
I haven't said anything.. is freaking me man.
over and out..
Mr.E
