Heart of Destiny

Her spirit wanders
in utter silence,
Drifting in limbo
while prayers are said,
To live or to die
or just dream awhile,
Her heart is swollen
in pain and cut up,
Too much mortal pain
for a child to bear,
Images of angels
reflect in her tears,
Innocence is truth
in the eye of God,
It is not her time
she has much to do,
Destiny will prove
that her heart is strong
