Wrong Attitude, The

Sometimes I have the wrong attitude
When I look at life
Sometimes bad shit happens
And I start to feel like?
Like it's me against the world
The whole world, a cold world in July
Full of fair-weather friends
And not a single true ally
I stare with these mean ass eyes
Up into the cold ass skies
My fire-hardened heart listens closely
It is tired of and will stand for no lies
I am betrayed by nobody
And I cause no pain
No one can get close enough
Maybe I'm driving them away
Gradually I grew accustomed to the anger
Stopped searching this world for an alliance
My fire-hardened heart grew stubborn
Content in its starry defiance
After all I am alone in this world
Surrounded by friends
Secluded and solitaire
In my war against the end
Pat me on the shoulder
Squeeze my hand tightly
Tell me it's not me against the world
That you're battling right here beside me
Right.
Bla, bla, bla
Yada, yada, yada
Etcetera, etcetera
Ad naseum profundi
