Just look at you, -- what a riduculous hound!
With your long, floppy ears all but touching the ground.
Your tail held erect when you're on to a scent
And when you're at ease, like a pump-handle, bent.
Four short little legs, they're sturdy it's true,
But were made for a dog much smaller than you.
Just look at that tongue, a foot long or more!
A coat all in patches, a bark like a roar.
You bay like a Baskerville, nose to the ground.
Oh listen! It's such an incredible sound;
You delightful, engaging, riduculous hound!
