Summer
Recline into this blanket of summer season's splendours,
Reflect upon the sterile months of winter that we remembered,
Embrace this yearned for sun, to which our bodies warm,
Dream of times so tender and from this hoping not to be torn
The annual births are accustomed to their earthly formation,
Learning the survival ways from their mothers this duration,
Our minds wander through the magic of earth's mysteries,
The human race will always reflect on nature's histories.
Throughout these days our bodies maybe tender and tanned
But we still recall the days when there was no sun or sand
We endure this heat until we can no longer bend
Knowing that these lovely days will eventually have to end.
We drifted through this season noticed the changes that had to
come,
And we enjoyed these months of pleasure with all this summer sun,
But now the weather has changed, trees are turning brown,
Autumn has arrived, the red and gold leaves lay deep upon the
ground.
