Homeless
By Ronnie W. Norris
HOMELESS
Their home might be a cardboard box
Living outside the normal way
They roam downtown through city blocks
Trying to survive the day
Sleeping under the stars
Living in old vacant cars
Families with children out on the street
Cries of mothers with babies to feed
Where will they go, when will they eat
Care for them in their time of need
To have a home shouldn't be a quest
No one should roam and be homeless
