Where is the safety of yesterday?
Here, now
is a frightening thing.
What happens to a dream
When it is no longer Dream
but Possibility?

Wish is safe,sterile
when it is just Wish
as is Existence, sterile, safe
when it is only existing
But what happens
when Wish
penetrates Existence
and becomes Being?

Being, to become, must Do
and in doing becomes Being.
All the while, Being,
knowing it is becoming
by Doing
But not knowing what to do
to become the
Being it wants to be

Father Time is a strict disciplinarian.
He and Mother Nature
have been bitterly divorced.
He got custody of Being

Being is a (l)on(e)ly child
until she meets Today
Today is frightening...
a stranger.

What happens
When a Being, full of dreams
meets Today, full of possibility?
And what kind of Tomorrow
will come,
when Being Today becomes Yesterday?
