The White Knight
By sapphire
- 483 reads
He stands tall this white knight
Always ready to raise his mighty sword
Yet though he hides behind his shield, he knows no fear
Except from himself and the awful secrets he holds
His heart is of pure gold, shining brighter than the sun
Having been polished by the wishes and dreams cast upon it
His face is never seen for it is kept shadowed by the mask he
wears
He does not cower behind his mask as others do
He wears it proudly protecting others from what he really is
A white knight upon a majestic horse,
A lone wolf, searching for prey
And still yet a pup still yearning for love
Why does such a man keep himself hidden from the fray?
Perhaps he fears the battle or perhaps he fears the outcome,
But most of all he will always fear himself
