You've drawn me in a beautiful world
This endless summer of our lives
An image you hold of me -
Lines and colours defined and sure,
A perfection I dream to give to you
My gift to you, for drawing me into
This eternally beautiful world.

I will here sit forever as your model
For in this studio the light is ceaselessly warm
And whilst you draw me in this beautiful world
I remain motionless lest I shatter the illusion

For you've shown me the meaning of colour
You've taken me by the hand to unearth
These wonders unfolded daily before me
Transfixed by the opulence of this world
