BLOOD AND MILK
I lie outstretched in stillness, shaped in crucifix
Left arm reaching out
Left hand clenched
Waiting fah em needle and em fix.
For my river of blood to flow upwards and over.
To be tested, in tiny milk bottles
Right arm, reaching out
Right hand cupped
To cup 'em breasts of the future.
Blood and milk
Blood and milk.
In the hospitals and town halls
Hot, hot water turning into tea.
Milky brown, sugared to cool em blood.
Hot tea and blood and milk and brown sugar
How come you taste so
Brown sugar
I want some more
Just like anyone should
Brown sugga.
