Election Insights

        We Democrats lost the election for a handful of unfortunate reasons.  On key issues like trade, we had the wrong policies.  Economic globalization has been taking place too fast with too little regulation: Americans are sick of seeing our jobs being exported to places like India, even say customer service jobs... often to people who can't even do them, so that we have to tolerate maddening dysfunction on top of economic loss. 

            Likewise, on Russian relations, for example, Democrats had the wrong policies...  treating the Russian Bear with punitive disdain is anything but a recipe for global peace and security...  Perestroika is the right policy, whoever champions it.  

          Thirdly, we didn't hold a fair nominating process, or afterwards utilize the available Democratic talent...  Young activists and politicos had to sit on the side-lines month after month, and watch this predictable disaster take shape and form
