Thank Gaiya for the cordial young blonde who cut my hair yesterday
(and reminded me to keep my sweater,)

Thank Gaiya that the news from South America
keeps getting better and better,

Thank Gaiya for blessing me with a bit of horse sense,

Thank Gaiya that after my afternoon coffee
I still have fifty cents,

Thank Gaiya for my plush privilleges as a citizen of America;

May I use them to aid the poor
in places such as India and Africa!!
