I Have Spoken

I would like to pass a few comments on to posterity. I don't know
what my material future will be. I do know that the future will hold me
to be a genius. What many people have not learned from Shakespeare is
that the thing is not to seem but to be. I wish my works to appear only
in large print. Words are not holy relics; they are symbols of
communication. I wish film-makers, fellow artists, etc., to feel free
to modify my work... so long as they hold me in proper reverence. I
wrote what I wrote not as a demi-god but as a member of society. My
wisdom was payed for by Odin's eye, suffering that makes me an old man
at 22.
I would like to clarify that my work is not always a sincere lay-out
of my viewpoints. Some of it was just written for shock value to
promote other works. For instance, "Christ Fuck" does not reflect my
views. I actually rather admire Christ. I wrote it as a marketing
tactic for my better works. Primitive times call for primitive
measures.
Furthermore, I warn my readers against emulating me or even admiring
me as a complete human being. As a philosopher, I'm skilled; as a poet,
I'm brilliant. But chances are, you are a better all-around person than
I am. I have given the world a gift and as of today have only sired one
child, through a lesbian couple. If you wish to re-pay me, do two
things. First, help my family. Secondly, preserve my writings.
