Time is Illusory

      As Einstein once said in a lecture, time is a kind of illusion.  What he meant by this is that time is a rule of thumb; in our everyday lives, we see actions and consequences unfold, dogs being kicked and then yelping, in usual and consistent ways, so usual that we have invented this rule we know as time.  But it's also true that in very unusual situations, actions and consequences unfold in ways that defy usual time, or even reverse time on its head.
