the self-conscious place,
competing diverging concepts
oil-deep self-doubt

tired of poetry
tired of life :
"the thousand natural shocks
that flesh is heir to"

my verse receiving praise
that would have meant
so much to the college student,
who of course
couldn't write as well

not suicidal
not giving up,
thought today
I might write something
in
lines

Thanks Pia. I don't know if it helps anyone else, but it's good for me to do some self-expression. I've learned that about myself over the years. <]:- )

What I meant was that rather than say a lot of crap about your very good poem and self-expression I had better hold my tongue because sometimes I really lack words when I want to praise someone. I agree with you- it's so good to just get it out by ways self-expression. ;)Pia
