Yes, We Can

I'd like to outline some of my ideas on how the U.S. can be spurred out of recession and made, for years to come, a stronger economy and nation. First, bringing smart healthcare to more citizens would greatly increase worker energy and productivity. The key is innovative allocation of resources such as use of nurses and nurse practicioners, focusing on preventitive and holistic medicine, and encouraging better diet, etc. Another direction we need to move toward is globalism: the best way to do this is to offer scholarships for high school and college students to study a year abroad from Thailand to Zaire to the Ukraine.
Then we need to stop "bailing out" corrupted banks and corporations, and prosecute some high-ranking cons involved in the mass fraud leading to the last crash(agriculture is the only business sector that the tax-payers should have to subsidize.) As for the rest, we need to re-create a business environment that empowers innovators and wealth creators. Additonally, we must legalize and tax marijuana, and stop putting mind-alterers in dungeons like the Jackson County Jail that only lead to more societal dysfunction. As for energy, nuclear should be the engine of our future; Frankly, we should work humbly with France to see to it that our power-plants are as safe as theirs have been.
The key to all this, as Obama recently said regarding education: "work smart." Yes, we can!!
