ENDINGS.
After tea on schooldays
The hard-bricked yard was mine.
Dustbins circled as covered wagons,
Doorways were snipered cities,
The balls i caught won championships.
Perhaps poetry opened then.
"It`s half-past 8" my mother yelled
Her endings always bettered mine.
