Song of Discovery

Is this the beginning of my days?
The soft awakening of life's ways,
This rosy dawn of recognition,
A few sweet notes of Beethoven.
Is this the face i,ve been seeing?
The same smile with greater meaning.
What glorious jokes my soul been playing?
What does it matter i'm not complaining!
If all the world stood watching,laughing'
I'd still be here believing,singing.
Friend before,stranger today,
The hesitation felt inside
And every other emotion's tide,
I'll take and treasure in memory pages,
Dim silver though be coming ages.
In your eyes i've seen heart's swell,
